Hi and welcome to the Airsoft Commando. On the following pages we hope you will find out everything you need to know about our site and the players that regularly attend it. The original members of the team use to run games at a local paintball site, but a few years ago it soon became apparent that the team and Club would have to move to its own site so that we could assure the future of the club. We managed to acquire the use of a small woodland area close to the original paintball site and although small in size, it is home. The original idea for the site was for team days/training but soon other local players wanted to come and play. I guess this was a mixture of great value at £10 for all walk-ons and our location meant there were not many other local sites at the time in our vicinity. Been a club and not a business all the fees taken go toward the running of the club, we are a non profit set up and all cash taken through games/events goes towards the up keep, improvement, insurance and running of the club/site. I feel we are totally different from many other sites out there as our main concern is to be a club rather than a business, we not only arrange games at our site but we take large groups out on away games to others sites. To date we have taken the club to several First & only games/sites, Light fighter, Lincolnshire Airsoft, Louth, Elite, and also to some larger 24hr games such as Town Assault, Advance 2 contact, I.E.D This aspect of us going away and taking our members/players to other sites allows our members to see & play in other environments. But what better feeling can a you have than going to a new site and having a group of 15+ other players from your own club that you will already know and get on with covering your back. The site currently charges a competitive £15 for non-members to walk-on and £10 for members, hire packages can also be provided for people new to the sport for the price of £30. Membership is £30 for the year, for that you get the cheaper walk on fee, 3 free games a year and access to the night events that we hold and of course UKARA membership as we are fully registered on their database. Our site is constantly changing, over the past year or so we have added 2 towers, a new CQB arena that is made up of “shacks” around a village set up. This new CQB arena has opened the way for some of the most intense games and skirmishes that I have ever played in, we are trying to go for the shanty town feel and with more “shacks” and a church the next to be added it really will make for a full on battle.
