Background Stirling Airsoft have been active in the UK airsoft scene before 2001 and joined ASUK in 2003. Founders Matt Belgrove and Ben Watt Airsoft events Stirling run two main types of regular airsoft events. AOW (All out war) is a on going story line of near future world events, the outcome of which effects the storyline.The other main type of event are combat missions. These are generally smaller but geared very much towards serious military simulation.The UK airsoft championships are held by Stirling airsoft, to be held on May 17th in 2008. This two day event allow teams from all over the UK to compete against each other in a number of challanges. Training Stirling Arisofts training events have in the past covered; Advanced battlefield skills, Black kit (CRW), PSD training, Hand to hand combat and demolitions. Team Stirling There is an offical team within Stirling airsoft, 'Team Stirling' aremade up of those candidates who have passed Stirling airsoft selectionheld until recently twice a year but from 2008 only once a year. Theteam is made up of approximently 12 members. The team is spilt into two operational units 'Sabre' and 'Zulu' for both training and events. |
